Alaska Districts in the Code.org District Program
Across Alaska, school districts are teaming up with Code.org and Alaska Staff Development Network's, Regional Manager Cheryl Bobo, to create computer science programs that fit their unique students and communities' needs. These districts are at various stages of strategic planning to make this vision a reality.
“Together we’re building programs that works for our Alaska's students—
whether they’re in urban areas or remote villages. Districts don't have to take this journey alone.” Mrs.Bobo
From selecting the right curriculum to training teachers, we work with District leaders to provide hands-on guidance every step of the way. Meeting the distrcits vision for their students and closing gaps in their strategic plans, they’re creating opportunities that prepare Alaska’s kids for the future.
